NSW: Top Victorian bureacrat to head-up NSW super-ministry
SYDNEY, April 10 AAP - A top Victorian education bureaucrat is to head the Infrastructure,Planning and Natural Resources department in NSW.
Jennifer Westacott was today named the new super-ministry's Director General and willoversee the Urban and Transport Planning Department and the Sustainable Natural ResourcesDepartment.
"Ms Westacott is a highly skilled public servant who will bring a wealth of experienceto this important new position," Infrastructure, Planning and Natural Resources MinisterCraig Knowles said.
Ms Westacott is currently the head of the Victorian Education and Training Departmentand was previously Executive Director of the NSW Health Council.
She was also Deputy Director General of the NSW Housing and Community Service Departments.
